Verification on Listed SA

We moderate listings and verify agencies so buyers and renters can tell the difference between a checked agency profile and a private owner listing.

What “Verified” means

The Verified badge is awarded to real estate agencies after Listed SA reviews their company profile and compliance details. It is not a guarantee of any transaction, and it is not the same as a paid Featured boost.

Private sellers and landlords can still list, but they appear as Private listings — not as Verified agencies.

Verification badge criteria

Before we award or keep a Verified badge, we look for the following:

  • Active agency account with complete company profile details
  • Company registration number provided and reviewable
  • PPRA registration and/or valid Fidelity Fund Certificate (FFC) details on file where applicable
  • Listings moderated by Listed SA before going live
  • No unresolved serious trust or compliance reports

PPRA & FFC status

Agency profiles can show company registration, PPRA registration, and Fidelity Fund Certificate (FFC) number with expiry. We display whether the FFC on file looks valid or expired. Practitioners remain responsible for staying compliant — download the Property Practitioners Act (PDF).

Listing moderation

Submitted listings are reviewed before they go live. On each listing we show when it was last updated or verified live, and whether it is an agency or private listing. Anyone can use Report this listing if something looks wrong.

Agency vs private listings

  • Agency — listed under a company profile, may show a Verified badge plus registration / PPRA / FFC details when provided.
  • Private — owner or landlord marketing their own property. Still moderated; not a PPRA-registered practitioner unless they say so.
